SCOT
ANTHONY
ROBINSON
brings his message through a stage performance.
When
asked, "Is there anything worse than blindness?", Helen
Keller answered, "Yes, a person with sight and no vision."
This
quotation inspired Scot Anthony Robinson after he returned from his
rehabilitation from drug addiction. He then founded Vision Warrior,
a presentation that gives the audience a close-up and personal look at drugs on the human body and
spirit.

"The
VISION WARRIOR" Event Was A Great Success at Waynflete School.
"The
Vision Warrior" is a powerful and dramatic presentation that strikes at the heart of
substance abuse. Actor, Scot Anthony Robinson leaves audiences spellbound
as he inspires them to identify with him on his incredible theatrical
journey. Thank you to everyone who made this possible: Waynflete,
Portland Housing Authority, PROP/PEER Leader, University of Southern
Maine, Place for Girls, Boys
and Girls Club of Portland, West End Community Policing, NAACP
Portland, Study Center Coordinators, I.P.D. Committee.
I.P.D.
INVITED The VISION WARRIOR to Portland
April 27th & 28th.
An actor and college graduate who has appeared in "Malcolm X",
"Clockers" and "All My Children," he gives a close
up look at personal and community destruction. "The fact that
"I’m still alive is no accident," Robinson said. "I’m
clear now why I’m here. I’ve been given a gift to be able to reach
kids, to help plant a seed."
Understanding
drugs, the behaviors that come with them, how they can destroy everyone
around you, is the message of "The Vision Warrior".
Drugs
and alcohol do not discriminate. Like a cancer, drug and alcohol abuse
has eaten its way through to the heart of our nation. Vision Warrior
forces us to confront this demon, impacting each and every individual
who experiences the show. The target audience is about 150 middle
school through high school students, and parents and professionals
who work with youth. Contact Victoria Hershey at 773-4753, ext. 259
